New Rates in DTLA, Hollywood, and Westwood

LA Express Park™, the City of Los Angeles’ intelligent parking management program, is updating the hourly meter rates in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Westwood on April 10, 2023.

The rates have been adjusted based on current parking demand and are specific to each meter. Be sure to check your parking meter for the most up-to-date rate and policy.

Downtown Los Angeles

In Downtown Los Angeles, the weighted average rate from 8A-11A will decrease by 4 cents, increase by 1 cents from 11A-4P, and will decrease by 7 cents from 4P-8P on weekdays. The average rate will increase by 6 cents on weekends.

Hollywood

On weekdays, the weighted average rate from 8A-10A will decrease by $0.08 and increase by $0.02 from 10A to the end of enforcement hours. During the weekend, the rate will increase by $0.05 cents.

Westwood

The average rate from 8A-10A will increase by $0.12, increase by $0.15 from 10A-3P, increase by $0.14 from 3P to the end of enforcement on Mondays through Friday. On Saturdays, the average rate will increase by $0.05. On Sundays, the average rate will increase by $0.15.

Parking meters with time-of-day rates have different hourly rates matching the parking demand during each time interval. All parking meter and pay station screens will display the current rate and the maximum time allowed for parking for every meter space depending on the time-of-day. Meters and pay stations will be equipped to calculate the applicable rates for you if your parking period spans different rate periods.
