New Rates in LA Express Park Westwood and Venice for June 2022

LA Express Park™, the City of Los Angeles’ intelligent parking management program, is updating the hourly meter rates in Westwood and Venice for June 2022. The rates have been adjusted based on current parking demand and are specific to each meter. Be sure to check your parking meter for the most up-to-date rate and policy.

The new rates in Westwood will go into effect on June 6. The weighted average rate from 8A-10A will increase by $0.13, increase by $0.24 from 10A-3P, increase by $0.27 from 3P to the end of enforcement on Mondays through Friday. On Saturdays, the average rate will increase by $0.13. On Sundays, the average rate will increase by $0.16.

The new rates in Venice will go into effect on June 6th for the single space meters (denoted in the map below with a open circle) and on June 13th for pay station kiosks spaces (denoted in the map below with a filled/solid circle). On weekdays, the weighted average rate from 8A-10A will decrease by $0.10 and increase by $0.11 from 10A to the end of enforcement hours. On Saturdays, the rate will increase by $0.24 and will increase by $0.31 on Sundays.

Parking meters with time-of-day rates have different hourly rates matching the parking demand during each time interval. All parking meter and pay station screens will display the current rate and the maximum time allowed for parking for every meter space depending on the time-of-day. Meters and pay stations will be equipped to calculate the applicable rates for you if your parking period spans different rate periods.

New Rates in LA Express Park DTLA for May 2022

LA Express Park™, the City of Los Angeles’ intelligent parking management program, is updating the hourly meter rates in Downtown Los Angeles on May 9, 2022.

The rates have been adjusted based on current parking demand and are specific to each meter. Be sure to check your parking meter for the most up-to-date rate and policy.

The weighted average rate from 8A-11A will decrease by 4 cents, increase by 3 cents from 11A-4P, and will decrease by 8 cents from 4P-8P on weekdays. The average rate will increase by 8 cents on weekends.

October 2020 Parking Meter Rate Changes

In response to changing occupancy patterns, parking rates within LA Express Park are being reduced in many areas. Parking meters remain enforced to reduce congestion and improve parking availability for local businesses. Restaurants offering takeout and delivery can still apply for a Temporary Food Pick-Up Zone or Temporary Retail Pick-Up Zone here at no charge.

The rates in Westwood, Hollywood, Downtown LA, and Venice have been adjusted based on current parking demand. Please note that all rates are specific to each meter. Be sure to check your parking meter for the specific rate of your parking session. The new rates, effective October 7th, are shown in the map below.

All parking meter and pay station screens will display the applicable rate and the maximum session time allowed depending on the time-of-day. Please follow posted signage for current time limits and parking restrictions. Pay by App Parking

If you need to park, but would like to avoid touching the meter, look out for stickers such as this one showing which app can be used to pay for your parking session. Only meters with a Parkmobile or Parksmarter sticker can accept payment at this time.
